Clerk Green designates two chief deputy clerks who are responsible for oversight of the various areas of the Clay County Clerk’s Office. Based in Clerk Green’s administrative office in Green Cove Springs, these chief deputy clerks serve in two capacities, Court Operations and Administrative Services.

Clerk Green’s executive team also includes a Director of Human Resources (HR) who works directly with the chief deputies and their staff. This director reviews applications for current job openings, schedules appointments for prospective employees and supports current employees with benefits and Clerk’s Office policy matters. Clerk Green’s executive team also includes a General Counsel (attorney) who advises Clerk Green and Clerk’s Office personnel on matters related to the proper application of Florida statutes. Additionally, the General Counsel oversees the retention of and access to court and official records.

In the area of Court Operations, Chief Deputy Clerk Tracie McRae, with the assistance of five directors and Business Analyst Connie Wolfe, directs the operations of the various court divisions. She coordinates services such as case processing, directs all Recording Department and branch divisions (Keystone Heights & Middleburg offices), participates in developing and implementing procedures required to fulfill obligations mandated by state statutes and court rules, is involved with the hiring of staff, assists in preparing and monitoring budgets for each of the court divisions and compiles statistical information to meet our statewide reporting requirements.In the area of Administrative Services, Chief Deputy Clerk Rick Dingle, with the assistance of Controller Jeannie Dopson and the Clerk’s Office Information Technology (IT) team members, directs the operations of the Finance Department and IT Department. The Clerk’s Office Finance Department is responsible for budgeting activities, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll. Our IT Department plays a critical role in the provision of advanced information technology systems, streamlining the operation of the Clerk’s Office and providing information to judges, attorneys and citizens of Clay County through online systems.
