More than seventy (70) employees of the Clay County Clerk’s Office received life-saving CPR training last month thanks to our partnership with the Clay County Fire/Rescue Department. CCFR Captain David Kuykendall spent two days training our clerks at the main Clay County Courthouse in Green Cove Springs and at our Orange Park Branch office.
His service to us is really a service to the whole community as, now, our clerks are better prepared to assist citizens and their fellow employees should a medical emergency arise. The training included hands-only CPR training and also covered proper use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) equipment located throughout main county buildings.

This week, the Captain and his colleagues stopped by to present Clerk of Court Tara Green and her staff with their training certificates. We appreciate their assistance and hope to partner with them again soon for additional training that benefits us all.
