Clay County Clerk of Court Offering Savings Event on Fees to Reinstate Driver Licenses
WHAT: Operation Green Light, Clay County – A Driver License Reinstatement Days Event
WHEN: Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 9am-2pm
WHERE: Orange Park Branch Office at 1478 Park Avenue
WHO: Individuals looking to save on fees and have their driver license reinstated
During Operation Green Light, people with suspended driver licenses will have an opportunity to pay overdue court obligations, including traffic tickets, while saving on additional fees. Customers may also be able to have suspended driver licenses reinstated. This event will be held in partnership with the nearby Tax Collector’s office who will also assist citizens as needed. This saving/reinstatement event is not for suspensions caused by child support nonpayment.
As we work community-wide to get the word out about this one-day-only opportunity, we are asking various groups to share this important event information: Traffic hearing officers, judges, court administration, DOC, local criminal justice groups, law enforcement officers, Public Defenders, State Attorney’s Office, elected officials, Tax Collector, Property Appraiser, Supervisor of Elections, county and municipal public affairs offices, nonprofit groups such as Legal Aid, school board, colleges, insurance agencies, civic/community organizations, public transportation departments, libraries, chambers of commerce, community centers, multi-cultural organizations, and our local media.
